NEIGHBOR FEST

Neighbor Fest runs from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Come early to catch all the performances, food, shopping, cultural experiences and activities.

General Admission is $25 per person. Children under 2 years old are admitted free.

Yes — Neighbor Fest is an all-ages event. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children under 2 are admitted free.

No. Tickets will not be sold at the entrance or on-site the day of the event — all tickets must be purchased in advance. We encourage buying early, as Neighbor Fest may sell out.

No. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Neighbor Fest is a rain-or-shine event; if severe weather requires postponement, the official rain date is Sunday, October 18, 2026.

All guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in.

Yes. All guests should expect a thorough security screening before entering. Bags, strollers and personal items are subject to inspection, so please allow extra time for entry.

No. Neighbor Fest has a strict No Re-Entry Policy — once you leave the festival grounds, re-entry will not be permitted.

Neighbor Fest takes place at Queens Botanical Garden, 43-50 Main Street, Flushing, NY 11355. All guests must enter through the Main Street entrance.

Yes. Parking is available in a designated lot for $25 per vehicle, but spaces are limited. Expect a short walk to the Main Street entrance after parking.

Queens Botanical Garden is easily accessible by subway, bus and Long Island Rail Road.

• From Manhattan: Take the 7 train to Flushing–Main Street, then walk about 15 minutes or take the Q44 SBS or Q20A/B bus south to the Garden.
• From Port Authority: Take the 7 train from Times Square to Flushing–Main Street, then transfer to the Q44/Q20 bus or walk.
• From Brooklyn: Take the subway to the 7 train, continue to Flushing–Main Street, then transfer to the bus or walk.
• From New Jersey: Take NJ Transit into Penn Station, then walk to Times Square for the 7 train — or take the LIRR from Penn Station to Flushing, followed by the Q44/Q20 bus or a short walk.

No. Outside food, beverages, water bottles, thermoses, coolers and outside alcohol are not permitted.

Yes! Neighbor Fest features a variety of local vendors serving cuisine from around the world, with many small bites and tasting portions priced between $5 and $10. Alcohol is also available for purchase in designated areas for guests 21 and older with valid government-issued ID.

Yes, but seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Feel free to bring beach chairs, lawn chairs or blankets — just be mindful not to block walkways or emergency access routes. Outside tables are not allowed.

Yes. The festival grounds and Queens Botanical Garden's permanent restrooms are wheelchair accessible, and additional accessible portable restrooms will be available throughout the event.

Yes. Portable restrooms will be located throughout the festival grounds, in addition to the Garden's permanent restrooms.

We recommend bringing only small personal bags. Large bags, oversized backpacks, coolers and suitcases are discouraged. A limited bag check may be available if necessary.

Yes. Strollers are welcome but are subject to inspection before entering the festival.

No. There is no ATM available on-site. While many vendors accept credit cards and mobile payments, we recommend bringing some cash for your convenience.

Yes! Official Neighbor Fest merchandise, artisan goods and products from local vendors will be available throughout the festival.

No. Bicycles and electric bikes are not permitted inside the festival. Bike parking is available outside the entrance — please remember to bring your own lock.

No. Only ADA-recognized service animals are permitted. If you plan to attend with a service animal, please contact us in advance.

No. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the festival grounds.

Professional cameras, cameras with detachable lenses, video production equipment, drones, monopods, tripods, selfie sticks and other professional recording equipment are not permitted unless you have been credentialed by Neighbor Fest as approved media.

Absolutely! We encourage guests to capture and share their experience on social media. Don't forget to tag Neighbor Fest!

Yes. By entering Neighbor Fest, you grant Neighbor Fest permission to photograph, film and record your likeness. These images and recordings may be used by Neighbor Fest on our website, social media platforms, promotional materials, advertising, marketing campaigns and future event publications without compensation.

For the safety of all guests, the following items are prohibited:

• Tents or canopies
• Grills or cooking equipment
• Fireworks
• Laser pointers
• Large umbrellas
• Glass containers
• Outside alcohol
• Outside food or beverages
• Water bottles or thermoses
• Illegal substances
• Professional cameras or recording equipment (unless credentialed)
• Bicycles and electric bikes inside the festival grounds

Security reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone in possession of prohibited items.

Please visit the Information Tent, where our staff can assist with lost and found, lost children and general event questions.

Please respect all event signage, Neighbor Fest staff and volunteers, and all Queens Botanical Garden policies. Help us preserve the Garden by staying on designated pathways, not picking flowers or plants, not climbing trees or entering planted beds, disposing of trash properly, and treating fellow guests and Garden staff with courtesy and respect. Together, we can keep the day safe and beautiful for everyone.
